Aims and Scope

Journal of Media and Interdisciplinary Studies (JMIS) provides an inclusive and interdisciplinary medium for researchers with interests in the field of media and communication studies. The standpoint of the journal has a wide lens on the cultural, socio-economic, political, and historical dimensions of the Middle east and North Africa (MENA) region in specific and worldwide in general.

The scope encompasses print and digital media, performances, filmmaking, and various new media technologies. JMIS accepts submissions and participation based on the originality of the work, in corresponding significance to Relevance of the subjects, Empirical evidence, Method, and Structure. Hence, correct criteria play a crucial role in the selection process.

JMIS's commitment is to draw a highlight on researchers, academics, and students by giving them the space and recognition to channel their work by publication. JMIS aspiration is to contribute to knowledge by an international academic dialogue from a wide spectrum of communication disciplines and media perspectives.
